Advertising Revenue Disclosure

Thank you for visiting agoodcommunity.org. We enjoy bringing you free information and thoughts about making your community a better place.

However, maintaining the site does cost us some money and some lost earning opportunities due to the time commitment. So from time to time we might join a program that allows us to receive a referral commission. We are not using any such program now.

We do use Google ads to help support the direct expenses of the site.  In case you don't know, the "Ads by Google" are selected and inserted by Google, without our previewing them. Occasionally the ads are a little off-topic, but as a web user, you've experienced this before. If you see an ad that doesn't feel community-like, feel free to contact us. Please return to the A Good Community home page, search the site using the box above, or use the navigation buttons to make your browsing more useful.

Due to new regulations in the European Union, we have become much more purposeful in trying to fully inform you about various possibilities for you to opt out of data collection that various features of our site carry out.  To be frank, we don't look at any of the data that is "collected," but of course companies may do so, including Google Search and Google Analytics, Google advertising partners,  and the payment collector and download service if you buy one of our ebooks. If you subscribed to our newsletter prior to 2019, the newsletter was written and sent on the MailChimp platform, which may still have your e-mail address.  For the fullest information we understand about all of this, review our privacy policy if it concerns you.  The short version is we don't sell your information to other companies, or give it away except those mentioned in that policy.

If you use an ad blocking program, you will see some large white blocks where the Google ads are served to others.
